Amelie Borghese walked through the doors of Magnolia University, taking note of the brown mahogany archway, which though slightly worn by age, still welcomed her into the marble laden hallway, one that her parents and grandparents had walked before her. Though she was aware of their presence on her shoulders, she was more conscious of their reputation stalking in front of her. It was for that reason she had dressed in her most audacious outfit, recognizing that if she displayed herself right now, there would be nothing to prove through out the day, week, or semester at the prestigious Magnolia University. The most notable University for anyone gifted in the magical arts.
While Amelie adjusted her pink pearl necklace, and quickly took note of her lilic jumper which shimmered gold in interwoven patterns, she thought of what her first day would encompass. Her parents had been apart of the coven that destroyed the wizard James Tiberi, and though her grandparents had also partaken in his decimation, they had previously made their mark on the world by introducing the Exparte spell; a spell that conjured all parties involved in a crime before the jury that had been chosen to rule on their case. This spell had been a breakthrough in the crime world, and had solved numerous cold cases in the magical realm, therefore putting too rest many unresolved spirits.
It was for this reason that as Amelie took her first step into the hall, she was very aware that people would be eyeing her for her magical potential. Magnolia University was only applicable for the most talented witch or wizard, though she had yet to demonstrate her talent here. Amelie was very aware that she had gotten into Magnolia based off the magical powers that clung to her family, and not yet her. It was for this very reason that the last person Amelia wished to encounter within those first few seconds in that marble hallway was Victoria Meyers… a person who was quickly walking towards her.
“Welcome to Mag’s” Victoria Meyers said.
Amelie looked up into voracious violet eyes.
“Hey, thanks” Is all she could respond back, mostly because she was visually assaulted by the form in front of her. Victoria Meyers was dressed to impress with a plaid blazer and matching skirt over a black bodysuit, all which accentuated a very feminine form, and was complimented with a Tiffany’s diamond drop necklace. She reeked of potential, and Amelie smelled it immediately.
Jesus she thought, that’s what I should be wearing and thats who I should be.
Victoria came from nothing, but had quickly made her mark at Magnolia University (or Mag’s as she seemed to call it) by defeating a spook last semester that called himself Tokendi. Everyone had read about it in the news last year and everyone had wondered what great things could be expected out of Victoria Meyers, but more than that they had wondered how Victoria Meyers, and Amelie Borghese would be able to walk in the same hallway without sparking off each others energy. They were, too everyones knowledge, very different witches, and therefore would incite very different powers within each other. So to everyones expectations, this was a very important meeting.
